The Spring of Takayama

I think that almost everybody loves Spring, "La Primavera" in Italian. And at least me I always define in this case with words our Earthly Spring like blossoming, warmer, first green, blue skies and the perfume of those flowers who are opening to the new season. But in Takayama is a bit different.

Here Spring might be short and irregular. Why? I need to ask to the Kami (神様) or more than one, but in general Takayama has got a short Primavera because of it's geographical position. Below the Chubu Alps. Those so beautiful but a bit nasty Alps are bringing cold winds clouds and a lot of snow, at least since past years...But still those mighty Yamatachi (mountains) are protecting us from quakes too. So This is The Spring of Takayama in a tiny dew drop. Luca
